Smart Water Leakage detection
Washing machine or dishwasher leaky? Damage to water pipes, hoses or sinks? Flooding as a result of backflow or a heavy shower? There are many leakage risks, and if you are not at home, the result may be major water damage. It takes only very little effort to avoid this. Water sensors are positioned in rooms in such a way that they detect leaking water and send a signal to a water valve which automatically closes the main water line. This minimises water damage since no more water can escape.
The water pipe will be closed in response to an event message to keep further water from escaping. The gateway can be used optionally and transmits alarm messages and state transitions via WLAN or LAN to the person in charge (for example, to the owner, the facility manager, the janitor or other configured contacts); the message includes information on which water sensor has signalled the state transition.
Water leakage detector can detects accumulations of water and transmits a signal to an optionally available gateway which sends an alarm message to the person in charge (for example, to the owner, the facility manager, the janitor or other configured contacts). In addition, the sensor signal can also be used to automatically shut off the main water line by means of an optionally available water valve. This way, water damage can be limited to a minimum, even if you are not at home when the leak occurs.
